Louis Vuitton and Kopenhagen Fur Gives Help to Charity. |

In Russia, where over 6 million children live in poverty, the Russian supermodel Natalia Vodianova has started a foundation which makes safe playgrounds for these children. When Louis Vuitton re-opened their store in Moscow, with a whole new children's department, they wanted to do something to help The Naked Heart Foundation. Their idea was to have a special luxury article that could only be purchased on the opening night, 17 April, and the profits of that article would go to The Naked Heart Foundation.
The special luxury article became a mink teddy bear, or more precisely 55 mink teddy bears, made out of Kopenhagen Fur Platinum quality in brown and palomino skins, and styled with Louis Vuitton sun glasses, necklaces and scarves. Kopenhagen Studio made the teddy bears and Louis Vuitton styled them. Managing Director of Kopenhagen Fur, Torben Nielsen, said it was an offer Kopenhagen Fur could not refuse; to help charity and grow a stronger connection with Louis Vuitton at the same  time. Louis Vuitton normally only have products with their own label in their stores, so for Kopenhagen Fur to be represented in a Louis Vuitton store can only be seen as an extra quality mark on our products, Torben Nielsen says. The teddy bears were sold at a price of 1200 euro each, so The Naked Heart foundation had a really good night in Louis Vuittons re-opened store. |
